Scary fighting

My old boy, Bear, had one hell of a fight with a black cat last night. I literally couldn't part them, not even with a broom , it was quiet scary !

He then wouldn't come in for hours, sat garding HIS garden lol
Once indoors though i knew he was hurt, alot of growling, walking stiff and found it uncomfortable to sleep. With Hubby's help i looked all over for injuries but found nothing.

I have checked him over again today for puncher wounds but cant find anything but am going to put him on a course of antibiotics just to be on the safe side and have given him some metacam.
