One of my brother's cats was hit by a car on Friday, at least they assume that's what happened. He had been out for a few hours, my sister in law went out to get in her car and noticed him. He was dragging himself and his face was bleeding, they think he'd dragged himself from the main road. Took him to the vet and his leg and jaw are broken, and all his teeth barring a couple are gone. They've operated on his jaw, ruled out nerve damage on his leg now, and think he'll recover ok, he's being brought home today and has to be in a cage for 6 weeks. But this is the problem, about 2 months ago now a kitten was dumped at my sister in law's work and she brought her home, but Rocky (the poor boy who's been hurt) doesn't like her, but she seems to love him, wants to play with him but he hisses at her. They've asked the vet about this before and the vet said to just let them get on with it, they might fight but they'll sort it out between themselves and my brother and his wife aren't to interfere. But now with Rocky going to be in the house full-time my brother's worried about Polly annoying him and stressing him out. So, does anybody have any advice about how to keep him happy at this time. It's gonna be very hard to try and keep them apart.
