Oh that's just too cute!!!! :Luv2:  I have always liked cocker spaniels and it looks like they wouldn't mind few kitties around. Who knows, maybe one day....  ;)

OMG what a wonderful story and fab pics.  I love the first pic with Tia just watching Poppy.  The recent pic of all three of them together is wonderful  .. a real  Christmas card shot.  I think it's safe to say Poppy definitely looks like she is in charge and is happy having her her two doggy body guards watching over her  :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:

I wanted to share this lovely story from a cocker spaniel forum I'm a member of. I've checked with Caroline, who owns the little kitten concerned and she's happy for me to share.

Caroline has two cocker spaniels; Macy and Tia. On 11th Nov, Caroline's husband took the dogs a walk up the lane near their home. Tia was very interested in something and was barking. Caroline's husband went to investigate and found a tiny little kitten. Despite having a good look around, he could find no mum, other kittens or an owner. He took the tiny little thing home and then the went to the vet to have wee kitty checked over.

The vet thought the kitten was approx 3 weeks old and she needed bottle feeding every few hours.

Caroline and her husband have kept the little kitten, now named Poppy - very apt, considering she was found on 11th Nov. Little Poppy has a new mum - Tia, the cocker spaniel. Tia and Poppy love each other (Macy, the other cocker is fine with Poppy, but not that interested)

Poppy has generated a lot of interest from people on the cocker forum and we keep pestering Caroline to update us with photos. My family and colleagues are hooked on Poppy, and I though you'd like to read about her and see some photos.
