Oh you are going to be right under the thumb/paw while you're off work Leigh.

Bonnie's not a lap cat, she's a chest cat as shown in the pic.  When I first got her last December she was always laying on my back when I was in bed and stopped after a few months but recetly she has started it again.  :Luv2:

Mary

My Ollie is exactly the same - loves sitting on my chest and when I'm in bed sleeping he lies down my side/back (which I think is actually giving me back ache but I don't want to move him)

Cute pics  :Luv:

Belle's the only one of mine who doesn't like to sit on my knee, he has done but it's very, very rare. The other 3 love it.

Brilliant!  Fab pic of Bonnie, Mary  :Luv:

Jaffa took a few years to decide my lap was a nice place to be.  He likes to sit on me but he often stands on me too which is not comfortable as all his weight is transferred through 4 tiny paws!  He does lie down sometimes.  He likes it when I'm sat at the pc best though and sits on my lap leaning against me so that I can kiss his head while I stroke him  :Luv:  Mosi loves to be on my lap when I'm sat at the pc too, but he doesn't really come on it any other time.  He likes to snuggle up to me in bed and sometimes he will lie against me if I sprawl out on the sofa, but he only climbs onto my lap if I'm sat at the 'puter.

awww  :Luv:
Byron is a chest cat, she lies on steve's chest every morning as he eats his breakfast, she also likes shoulders when I was varnishing the skirting boards she sat on my shoulders.

Chest, neck, shoulder, Dave is a "get as close to the face as possible" cat, just depends where I will let him settle. ;)

Awww. Jameson was a 'chest' cat as well.
Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

My lot don't do laps (probably because I have a laptop computer glued to my knees since they moved in ... It is nice to snuggle down under a blanket of kitties on a chilly winter's day :Luv:

Lapcats

Hi folks,

Both Aflie and particularly Frankie are lap cats. This morning Alfie had fallen asleep on the end of the settee and Frankie was pining for a lap, miaowing repeatedly and looking at me with those big soulful eyes. I managed to lay down on the settee and squeeze my feet next to Alfie and then Frankie was able to jump up, stretch out and purr his head off so everyone was happy. Apologies for the poor picture quality but taken on my mobile.

They're just gonna love me being at home until the 5th :)

Cheers

Leigh
