Hello and  :welcome: to Purrs,

I have a feeling you are going to love it on here.  Once you start to find your way round the site you will find there is a wealth of information, fun and information to be had here.

We are a very friendly gang and one big "cyber family".  Looking forward to seeing Monty and hearing all about what makes him special.  :Luv2:

Hello Skiddaw - welcome to you and Monty Munchkin  :welcome:

Hope you have a great time with us on the forum.

You must have been very proud of Merlin, and almost twenty is a testament to the wonderful care he had in his lifetime.  Hope Monty's recovering from his recent fisticuffs and vet visit.  You might find something to cheer him up on the Auction thread.  ;)

Thanks all,

Will go through the Munchkin gallery and see what I can do.

What a cold day! There's sleet coming down in buckets outside. The Munchkin is now asleep on his cushion and I can't say I blame him.

Skiddaw, the easiest way to post pix is to:
Go to Photobucket.com and open an account (it's free)
load your image from your home computer files
click on the last of the four URLs that magically appear under the image when you move the cursor over it
click control C
then go back into your post and click control V and the URL will appear. Then when we open your post, we can access that image only in the files you have in your photobucket account.

It really is very simple.

Welcome to Purrs, BTW - just in time for the annual auction, which is great fun and raising funds for a very worthwhile cause.

Thanks!

Being a technophobe it will probably take me a few attempts to post some pics- but I'll give it a go..

Looking forward to enjoying meeting you all. :thanks:

Hello everyone,

Just discovered Purrs from following link in Cat Chat so thought I should join up...Am having difficulty in typing due to large, fat, ginger Munchkin sitting on my lap with his paws on the keyboard. He's had a hard time in the past week, poor little soul- scrap with cat from three doors down resulted in trip to vet for painkiller and antibiotic injections followed by further trip to vet due to having adverse reaction to one of the injections...Anyway, he's thankfully on the mend now. He's a rescue cat and has been with us for nearly a year. Our old boy, Merlin (Uncle M) died last September aged nearly 20 and we didn't think we could ever love another cat as much- but we're as besotted with The Munchkin (real name Monty) as we were with Uncle M. Will post some pics of them both soon.
