In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

The other day, I bought a cd with bird song (52 of the most common birds - I have always wanted to learn to recognise different bird sounds, especially as I am on the verge of moving back to the countryside...).

Anyway, as soon as I put it on, both cats came running and started hunting for birds. Poppy was determined to find them - they had to be there somewhere! She even tried to get inside the speakers.

Monkey isn't quite as brave, he kept close to Poppy, but would run out of the room when a particularly scary-sounding bird came on.

Anyway, lots of fun for all of us! :D
