Today I became a member of Costco cos a new branch has just opened in Cardiff.
To be a member you either have to run a business and be able to prove it or know someone who does and become one of their outworkers!!
Or in certain professions and retired you can be an individual member.
So bought a 48 box of felix meat selection pouches in jelly....half meat pouches and half fish.........was £8.39 plus vat, they also have whiskers pouches about the same price and tins. Sorry didnt look at price grrrrrrrrr.
So dont know if any of you rescues have a costcos near you, quite a lot of branches now and costs £20 a year to be a memeber if you a business and £14 approx for a membership on someones business membership and £25 for qualifying individauals. Think the 20 and 25 may be plus vat cos the £14 includes the vat.
Branches at Aberdeen, birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff. Chester, Chingford, Derby. Edinburgh, Gateshaed, Glasgow, Haydock, Leeds. Liverpool. Manchester. Milton Keynes, Oldham, Reading. Sheffield, Thurrock and Watford and there is another new one opening soon but cant remember where.
One snag also maybe is you cannot pay by credit card, only debit, I forgot to ask if they accept cheques.
Basically its a wholesaler and some things are good price and others not and packs of stuff are catering sizes or in 24s and stuff.
