It is because of sick people like this (and busy roads) that has prevented me from letting my cats outside and I had to make the decision for them to be house cats.   I couldn't bare it if I made the decision for them to go outside and then something like happened - I couldn't live with myself!  :'(  >:(

Ive just read this and like everyone else im sickened by this senseless act of cruelty  is the only way to discribe these :censored: and if caught they should have acid poured on some very  :censored: parts and left in agony with no help available. I for one would gladly do this without a qualm and agree with ccmacey ,i would be up on a GBH charge, killing them is too quick

I read it ....there are no words really  :censored:

I truly can't understand how anyone could do such a thing.

A few years ago this was going on in Bromley...Thankfully it seems to have stopped

RIP all the cats who have suffered and died this way xxx

Sadly the only cat named was Asterix, Gill ... and his mummy found him.  The "attacks" took place in the Selsdon area of Croydon and it would seem that most vets in the area aware of what has happened and the RSPCA are "investigating".

This is awful. I would have to say I would be on a murder charge if anyone hurt my animals!

I think these types of people come from pet less homes as kids, well they must do.

I was having a cuddle with Kylie last night and she was purring away in her bed and I thought it could just as easily be one of ours and that is when it really hits home how terrible it is  :'(. There is no hope for "people" like that and they really need removing from society for good  >:(

I can't read it and upset enough at the thought, the yobs need to experience what it must feel like,
my heart goes out to those kitties

I have modified the post to include the area and to add the warning symbol.

I have read the article and am appalled  that members of my own species are roaming the streets carrying out these evil acts of cruelty..

I can't even begin to imagine what the owners must be feeling.

RIP Asterix and the other little kitties that had the misfortune to meeting these sick individuals that did this to you.  Play hard at the bridge babies and remember how loved you were xxx

Thanks Sam for editing and adding the Warning sign.

The topic says it all anyway, it is too sick for words.  :(

I'm not reading it, but hopefully the symbol will come up so people browsing see that the topic is upsetting. (Sorry Tigerbaby, can't cope with reading more bad things about people mistreating animals. :()

I just read this online - our local vets are warning residents about yobs that have been mutilating and poured acid over cats in the area.
Please don't read if you think it might be too upsetting.

http://www.croydonguardian.co.uk/news/3825319.Sick_yobs_mutilate_and_pour_acid_over_cat/

Why are some people so cruel to animals? I will never understand.
