These people are still looking!! All the four cats that i have llined up from them to choose from have either fallen ill nor not suitable. Baring in mind they are at work during the day... Deaf puss cats like company and although i found a blind puss as well its true to say that due to their work it wouldnt be sucha  good idea. The 15yr old Persian fell ill, and a few cats offered from Foal Farm have been rehomed.

So can we start again!!

HI Mark i contacted this lady a few days ago re the tree site. As i put her onto Siamese rescue for the siamese. The other puss i really would like to be checked out at the vets etc before being considered rehoming... i have emailed this lady to ask her to send me details. She is based in Thanet hence outside our area... I am all to keen to help direct rehome but would only do so when the cats have been vet checked first. I did ask the lady to contact all the local rescues in Thanet (of which there are a few) and get them on a list.. But not sure if she has taken my advise the advert for these two is still on the free sites..

Where are you based Sharon?

If our Sharon doesbn;t respond, I will give her a call in the morning as she doesn't always check the board every day.

i have a lovely old girl. she was a stray that we took in at work. then they moved premises and she couldn't come with us. i could find no one to take her and so brought her home with me. trouble is she doesn't like the other cats and will not come out of my spare bedroom. i just want her to be happy, i will not contact the rspca as they would put her down. it looks like she may have had a stroke as she is lop sided but seems healthy apart from that.

1)
Name: Polo Breed: Short hair Age: 10 years Sex: M  Polo arrived at Foal on the 08/10/08 - sadly his older owner had to change housing arrangements and had to part with him. He is very sociable once you get to know him. He is deaf so requires an indoor home. He loves strokes & laps!!!

2)
Ginny came to FOAL on the 14/09/08 with siblings Zeke & Polo. All three must be homed together as they are special cats unfortunately suffering from deafness & brain damage due to interbreeding. This aside these are stunning friendly cats with so much to give who are looking for an indoor home. It is hard to say who loves fuss more out of the three as when you meet them they have so much love to give. Ginny is a lap cat who loves to play and is good with children & adults alike. If you think you have that special home please contact us to meet this special trio!

3)
Pudding is a loveable chap who loves fuss fuss fuss! So much it was hard to get him to stop for a moment for a photo. He is FIV+ so will need an indoor home or home with secluded garden.

4)
Molly came in with Monty on 10/08/08 as their owners could no longer afford to keep them. They are both FIV+and on treatments so will need a special home. They are very affectionate cats and will make great companions. We are concerned they have been here too long. We will support a new owner with advice and help with health treatments of these beautiful cats.

FoalFarm have a lovely deaf cat and a few FIV cats.
Although what if the cat got out the back door and made a run for the fence and jumped ??

I emailed out all local CP  branches to me but no one has got back to me.. We did a HC yesterday for a young couple who work (but someone is home one day of the week) they have no other animals or children. They live in a rented flat in Canterbury (just moved) but its right nr the river and although they have a small patio the fence is only 4ft high and borders onto the river. There isnt anything in the way to stop a cat potentially climging the fence and then into the river. So they are looking for a cat that would be happy being indoors, FIV, deaf, disabled would be fine, nothing young at all. But access outside would have to be restricted.

We have HC them but no cat to suit the home. They are well away from traffic in the main city centre.

Cantebury, Kent

Any cats out there that could fit the bill. I could forward details
