This is mainly for CP branches.. but in the few weeks we have had so much success with putting some blurb about our rescue kittens and cats and neutering vouchers.... We use two main free sites and although we seem to get the whole country ringing or emailing them i either give them local CP details or HQ.. I think we must of done least 3o or so in the last month and some multiple cat households.. I have also rehomed at least 6 kittens through these sites... All have gone to to be HC etc and all kittens are now doing well.
I really do urge CP branches to spread their wings abit and sign up for these sites. You cannot beat the advert but you can at least join the target audience and hence try to educate... It doesnt take much time, i have a ready made email reply template that i send out and usually it gets people to notice things... and take action.
So in our case its been very successful i would urge other branches to try as well.
