I think a little remembrance speech during the wedding would be good, It says how much you love her. My son's middle name is Ted after my eldest cat, people thought I was mad naming him after a cat but I love him that much and to me when Ted is no longer with us he will always be remembered by that.

Lisa, so sorry about Snarf, I remember how desperately you tried to find your baby when she went missing and how upsetting it was for you when you found her.  Please don't feel guilty, you did everything you could.  Try to remember the good times . x

She was found in my neighbours garden ( we have shared access so almost like our garden really ) placed down by the gunieapig hutch..it did not look like she had made it that far ..as she has in my opinion been in that state for a while ..was almost like someone had found her and put her there ..all so confusing for me

Thanks I am feeling much happier today, Not sure that the guilt will ever go away as she was so close but i never managed to find her ..it is the not knowing and the weird circumstances about everything that drives me crazy ..

I will never stop missing her but hopefully i will be able to not feel so down about at times

Do not feel guilty, it was not your fault.  I was at the Vets this morning with my dead pussy Milly who had been missing for eight days and to quote the Vet, "cats will be cats and they go walkabout, unfortunately accidents happen, do not blame yourself."

I do not know the history of your Snarf or how she died, but I am very very sorry.  Rest in Peace Snarf, make friends with Milly and Cleo.

Thanks Des, just feeling a bit emotional today i think - she was such a special little girl and it is so hard as she was my first cat and just came as a shock to me when i saw all these pics of her and had noises that she used to listen to and things ..just brought it all back ..I know i should smile and think about her in a good way but i feel so guilty that i never did enough to find her ...

Aww, what a sad post, and I am sorry you are having such a bad day Lisa - you know where I am if you want to talk. Big hugs to you, and I am sure that Snarf wont blame you in any way, you did everything you could to get her back.

Just going through my laptop and have found a load of pics of my beautiful baby girl Snarf who went missing the end of March last year and was found 4 months ago unfortunately no longer in this world, it just seems to have brought it all back to me again and i find myself in pieces 

My little baby princess Snarf..you fought so hard for so long, I wished i had known where you went and could have got to you in time, i hope that you will forgive me for not finding you.  Mummy and daddy miss you so much, sometimes i still feel you near me waking me up in the morning licking my ear or sticking your bum in my face...You were such a special little girl - i hope you approve of all our other naughty little ones.  Yumi still remembers you and we often show her pictures of her brave big sister who went off on an adventure and never made it back.

I do miss you more than words can describe, daddy does too - I am sure you know that you were always his favourite girl you always will be !

Anyway just hope whereever you are you know all this and are having fun with Zookie, Mister Gandhi and all the other precious Bridge Babies who left this earth because they are just too good for this awful place that the world is becoming.
