He's absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't worry to much about the hammy, ours lives in what can only be described as a fortress, the cats try to say hi, the hamster goes up to the plastic edges to say hi, doesn't know that theres anything to be scared of I guess. They have no chance of getting her so I suppose she feels safe!

Haha.  Yes he did turn out to be a boy, the evidence was discovered last week when we finally got the last few knots cut away from his back end.  Poor Frodo is very embarrassed and denies he ever any romantic feelings towards Arwyn.

The poor hamster lives a life of fear and constant persecution. I think if he could pack his little bags and leave he would. Imagine if Frodo ever sits on the cage like Arwyn does, Disaster would surely follow!

More food! He was so hungry when we found him I think he'd have eaten me if I sat still too long.

We had to give him tiny meals every couple of hours to begin with and he used to practically inhale it. Too much and we'd be cleaning up sick.

Gorgeous cat  :Luv2:

Was he waiting for food or waiting for more food in the bottom pic?  :evillaugh:

I don't think I've ever properly introduced Arwyn yet since when I first registered we'd only just found him. He's around a year old we believe and very handsome and cuddly.

He was found raking through our wheelie bin, very underweight and just a bundle of matted fur and dirt, the vet said later that he was near to death and incredibly lucky to have been found when he was.  We fostered him for Cat Protection while they tried to trace his owner and finally adopted him a couple of weeks ago. Since then we've discovered he's a boy. (we were originally told he was a she, but then we discovered balls )

He's at the vets at the moment after being very unwell over the weekend, but he's finally improving and we hope to have him home later today. It's amazing how after so little time they become just as important to you as the rest. I've had many a sleepless night in the past week!

The Bottom picture is the day we found him and the others are how he looks now.
