Aww, bless them, I do hope they improve soon and homes can be found. I agree, but I have had to do it this year as well, she was booked in asap in case she had just been caught, but the vet didn't pick it up till she had opened her up (despite shaving most of her tummy and side as she has a nick on one ear) - as we know she has already had at least 2 litters this year, and is only 18 months old, i know it was the best for her - and she is a nicer cat for it.
