I do hope that the vet is wrong and that Robbo just has an infection and definately get a good friendly vet if you can, cos it makes things just a little bit easier to cope with.

Robbo and you

Oh Greg   don't be afraid to take  Robbo to another vet and ask for a second opinion if you are not happy with diagnoses and/or response from your vet.  Remember YOU know Robbo and the fact that you noticed straight away he was feeling unwell means you are probably in a better position to know if he has a quality of life or not.

I sincerely hope it is just an infection and your boy will be back to his old self again soon

Sending lots of love and kitty kisses from me and the gang. xxx

So robinson was taking to the vet, and we were told that there is a high possibility he has a tumour in his mouth where his gingivitis is  :(, if this is the case it is likely to be inoperable and he may have to be put to sleep  :(.

He goes for a biopsy tomorrow and i'll know better then. The rather abrupt and unfriendly vet claimed he has a low quality of life, which is utter rubbish as Friday night was the first time he ever did anything like that, and he's got a steady good weight and keeps himself very clean and neat, the only problem he has is with his mouth. We're hoping its just an infection but I have a horrible feeling its going to be a cancer and if that is the case then i dont want poor robbo suffering in the long term  :'(.

 :scared:

I'm really worried, robbo's not well at all  :(. We were out having a BBQ and the cat was with us but just before we finished he went under the tree in the backgarden which isn't unusual around 6 hours ago, I went out to fetch him in and give him some food about an hour ago as I was wondering where he had gone and he usually comes running in but I couldnt see him, I went back to where I had last seen him (under the tree) and he was still lying there, I tried to call him out and he wasnt having any of it which again is very unlike him, in fact not like him at all. I was a bit concerned so tried to pick him up but he just hissed at me and tried to scratch me which is again completly out of character. I've since gone out with his favorite M&S roast beef to try tempt him out and whilst he ate it he then just went back into the ivys deeper than before and turned his back. I'm really worried, i've got a horrible feeling.
