I must check with him the next time I am there. I know stronghold doesn't treat tapeworm and they need a pill every 6 months.

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

He also said there is a new one coming out this year that treats ticks as well.

Frontline kills ticks

Yup, it covers roundworm but not tapeworm.

Just as I thought then, but as you know sometimes I think wrong, as I expect most of us do from time to time.

Ela, Stronghold doesn't cover one of the two worms, I just always forget which!! I will only use it a couple of times a year, as they still need an additional wormer with it.

I don't think that Stronghold covers tapeworm. Than again I may be mistaken.

My vet said Stronghold is the best as it deals with earmites as well as worms & fleas. He also said there is a new one coming out this year that treats ticks as well. He said ticks are becoming a problem in this country with the milder weather.
