ok, It's been a while  :-[ My Sister has loads of photo's of them, but neglects to give me them
If I ever get the other's I shall put them up here, in order of their chronology  ;)
anyways, I was baby sitting my Neice this morning and got a few snaps

Here the troublesome twosome on My Neices bed

Mickey

Mowgli

Mickey

Mowgli

Mickey's character is more of the silent keep myself to myself type and doesn't give anything away
whereas Mowgli is very Vocal and Loves being petted (purring machine) and comes to you when called
both of them let you rub their Tummy  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

My Sis is having litter tray problems with Mickey again, I have told Her to Join Purr's and post her question's
in failing that I will have to do the asking again :(

Oh stop it - they are just too cute!! They can come round my house and pee all over the rug anytime lol!! ;)

on an advice note - I have a friend with three persians and she can't actually have any rugs in the house - or her oldest pees on them - any type of rug - even the door mat if the front door is open - she was at her wits end then realised she just couldn't have any mats and got a wooden board for the shower instead!

With these two though I think it is more their age!
Love from Rachael & fur babies Nina & Rio

Can I come and watch?  :evillaugh:

Yes, she needs to develop a sense of proportion - you invite animals into your home you can not expect them to behave like the more civilised humans...

My only advice would be the same as you have already given your sis .... to put a litter tray on each floor of the house whilst they are still babies.  This is alot fairer than confining them to one room  :(  as they get older and more in control of their bladders the number of litter trays can be reduced.

I wouldn't worry about the amount of water they are drinking .... as they are little they will be rushing about alot so will keep topping up their fluids.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

definitely confine them to one floor of the house, Make sure they have at least one litter tray each. Clean the rug and don't leave it on the floor in the bathroom - it gets damp from feet in the shower and this accumulates a smell that will attract the kittens to it for less savoury purposes (and it gives the towel a chance to dry out - I never leave mine  on the floor- it needs to air!!! tsk tsk. Don't use bleach-based products. and remember they are only babies still!! how will she cope with a baby of her own if a little kitten pee upsets her!!

Sister's Kitten's Weeing in strange places

My Sister's 2 kitten's Mickey & Mowgli have been in their forever home for a total of two week's now
(10 week's old :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:) and they are fairly settling in :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
But I had a distraught phone call today from her, telling me that she had caught Mickey weeing on her
bathroom rug, when she picked up said rug there was a strong smell of wee, and told me she couldn't
get to sleep for thinking they were weeing all over the house and has been crying over the whole thing
Silly Moo :shy: when she first got them, she was only going to keep them in the kitchen to start off with
but that didn't last long :Luv: and they were allowed the full run of the house. but after todays phone
call they are confined to quarters now, Sis can be a bit Paranoid at times, eg; I had a flee infestation years
ago, she got 1 bite and then refused to come to my house for months  :tired:

she has had them for a total of 2 weeks, and in that time has only had two misshaps, but I promised I'd ask
some people on purr's to see if they had any suggestion's on how to stop weeing ??

I told her that Mickey & Mowgli are still Babies, (the House my sister has is quite large & has 3 stories) and for them
to be caught short on the second floor would be quite a long distance for them to go all the way down to the
kitchen for the litter box. I also suggested to get another litter box and keep it upstairs "just until they're older"
but she is not keen on this
she also told me that the rug was next to the shower which she washed with diluted bleach (some may have
dripped on the rug, now as far as I remember, thing's cleaned with bleach and pine disinfectant, can cause Cat's
to wee hence covering up the smell?? is this right ??

they also seem to be drinking a lot?? (I think)
but I can give her no advise on the weeing as I never had any problem's like this when My two were Wee,

any hint's n Tip's for making sure they use the litter tray, and best stuff for cleaning up would be greatly appreciated :)

P.S. she said No, when I said I'd take them :(
