OMG OMG OMG I had just posted on Purrs when the phone went from a lady saying she had picked up our lost cat leaflet from the local store and worked at a Motor Home warehouse and they had seen a cat locked in a motor home in their showroom, they had opened the door and it had shot out into their showroom, they had got an RSPCA trap and had trapped it but it had got out of it when they'd fed it and was under their floor boards - obviously me and hubby went racing round as it was down the road from us.
When we go their they led us upstairs and gave us a torch and said it was under the floor boards but if you climbed onto the desk you can see through the gap. They said they'd tried to get her out for days and when I climbed up and called she started meowing - they said thats the first time she meowed. At first I could just hear her but hubby called and she popped her head out - we couldn't get trhough the gap and she was about 10 foot down from us so couldn't reach down, so hubby kept calling her with tons of food and after 20 mins she came out and he grabbed her - her paws and underbelly black from dust!
You can imagine my tears, the showroom had customers in also - must have locked insane two people jumping on and off desks shouting Poppy and crying!
POPPY IS HOME
She is walking round stunned but she knows she is home, she is safe and healthy and fine, bit of a scratch on her nose but thats it!
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support
Also weirdly this is my 1,000 post on Purrs - how amazing is that!
