yeah Dawn, I was getting sick of people coming to me saying " that's not like you " and " that's out of your character "
I am very easy going, (I think that is one of the reasons why she said it) and in all the 18 years I have been going to
motorcycle rallies this is the first time I've been involved in any trouble.
I know I reacted badly, but that was due to the Frustration of the situation. it was a cruel Nasty comment to make and
also by the way it was said.

But at the end of the day You have to defend and stick up for what you believe in !!

sounds like a nasty person Stuart - and to be honest my oh would deck anyone who took the pee out of him for caring about his cats, uncharacteristic for a phd student museum curator but totally true

Thanks Folks, I knew I could rely on You's for some emotional support

After the initial kick off of trouble, we were not asked to leave straight away, but left on our own accord back to our tent, back at the tent OH just wanted to go home
as she was upset with all that had happened. due to being over the limit though, that was out of the question. It was then I said Let's go back to the Hall and show face
to show this  :censored: that we were better than Her, on the way to the Hall I told the OH that if this  :censored: Kicked off again to just Ignore her. Got back to the Hall and I
started speaking to some of my friends, and sure as death there's the  :censored: again! trying to flare it all up again >:( I just turned round to Her and told Her " We don't
want any Trouble" and turned my back on Her. I could still hear The  :censored: trying to goad me to retaliate, but her words were falling on deaf ears, She then Proceeded to try and
start a Fight with my OH by saying "you were Flirting with my Man at a rally last year, c'mon lets go outside and sort it out" at this point I stood between them, my back still
facing the aggressor, and told Oh to Just Ignore it. now I'm not saying this  :censored: is a big lady, but my OH is about 5'3" and This  :censored: is about
5'10" (which is taller than me) she also has a gastric band fitted to try and help her loose weight(when she sat on me, I couldn't move her)
as for my OH Flirting with Her man
It's Her Man that is the Floozy and we quite often hear the stories that he has spent the night with someone else when This  :censored: is not with Him

anyway after Her trying to Start on OH, someone must have pulled her away, because she was gone, at that point I saw Her OH, and decided to have a chat with Him
(as He was one of the People last year who gave me support when I told him about Hamish and showed a lot of compassion) and although half an hour earlier we were having some
fisti-cuff's, We had a really good chat and He was Listening. We sat down on the main entrance step and carried on speaking, and it was then that We were asked to leave...

She is obviously sick and twisted in the mind, and must have insecurity problem's

I really feel better for getting this of my chest now, and shall move on
Thank's for Listening

Stuart............

P.S. yes Liz the rally was the one at Kemnay, You must stay up on the Hill?? if I'd known that We would have probably popped in for a cuppa  ;)

I agree - we once had a so called friend and his wife round for dinner and he went to kick one of the cats  :P :P :P.  I was sitting next to him and booted him in the groin!  Ooops
Needless to say not a friend any more.

What an absolute b**ch, Stuart, and well done for not just sitting there and saying nothing and fuming imho. Life is just too short as we all know to bother with people who are so malicious and take pleasure in hurting others. I can really understand how and why you saw red.  Try not to obsess about the stupid cow as that'll just make you even unhappier at what's a really tough time for you

Hi Stu sorry to hear you had a run in with such a gobby, insensitve  :censored:.  In a way you should pity her she obviously doesn't get out much and quite clearly takes pleasure from being a cold hearted cow!  Too much time spent on a small island  and not enough interaction with the real world. ;)  (no offense to anyone else that lives on Sheltand).  She'll get hers mate ... Karma is a wonderful thing.

You just need to rise above it ... and try to imagine how a cat would deal with this sort of person!  A derisory look, a flick of the tail and complete and utter contempt  :evillaugh:

Take care  we all understand.

That isn't just insensitive, it's plain nasty. Obviously there is no confusion as she wouldn't be asking you how her son is

She is probably embarrassed that she is so horrible when she has had a drink. I hope some cat-loving women give her what's coming!  >:(

Stuart, I am so sorry to hear that awful story, what a cow she is.  It makes it 100 times worse when it's thee anniversary of our little darlings.  I know how you are feeling at the moment as Smudge went missing last 4th September and I can't stop thinking about this time last year.  Also finally finding him dead in April is going to be hard again for me.

Think about the good times with Hamish and have a good cry if you want.  At least you know we are all here for each other.

Thanks Guys, I have been trying to climb above this but I think with it being
Hamish's anniversary on the 5th of september, I'm finding it a little hard

I am also a believer of what goes around comes around, just wish I was there
when she get's her's.

Hindsight's a great thing, and normally I would have left it at that, most
insults are usually like water of a duck's back to Me, but the
:censored: touched on a very sensative nerve and the story above was the result

Thanks again Guy's, I feel a wee bitty better now I've got it of my chest

edit: Hi Liza, I have never lifted my hand to a woman in my life and would never condone
such acts, but the situation I found myself in kinda left me with no alternative
I'm embarrased to say this, but yes, I just saw red

How horrible!! She must be a very bitter and twisted individual and I firmly believe what goes around comes around. I will say though , dont let her cruel attitude get you down - hate is a horrid emotion and if you let it dwell too long it will eat you up. « Reply #1 on: August 21, 2008, 13:08:28 PM »
I have been trying to keep this to myself and not tell you folks, but this is burning a hole
in me and I am full of sadness and Hatred at the same time.

Ok here goes,(I'll try and keep this short and to the point)

I was at a motorcycle Rally last weekend, it was one of the first this year because of my job
I saw a lot of friends I have not seen in ages and I was having a Brilliant night !!
Then near the end of the night, I was having a laugh with one of my mates from down south, when
I became aware of a friend from shetlands OH standing next to us, I turned to Her and said
"Hiya, how you doing?? are you enjoying the rally ?? " her answer left me Speachless !!!
"How's Hamish?" I said ; "what??" she then went "How's Hamish??, Meeow" Smirking as She said it !!
She then turned round to the guy who I was talking too and told him to ask me "How Hamish was?"
at this point I could feel my heart sinking and just had to get out of there, My OH saw me leave
and came chasing after me back to our tent(by which time I was inconsolable) I eventually managed
to Tell Her what had happened, and she said "leave it to me I'll sort this out" after 1/4hr the
pain was going, and being replaced with rage, this is where I made the stupid decision of going
back to the hall, just wanting to ask Her "why would she say such a cruel thing??" when I returned
to the hall, I could see Her, her partner and my OH talking. I asked her why did she say that??
and I was told to "just F+++ Off" I saw Red and made a lunge towards her, never got near Her because
her OH grabbed me and we ended up in a slight altercation, with a couple of punches thrown. I
ended up on my back next to the side of the building, the next thing I know the woman who started
all this, sat on me and started punching me in the head, My other half asked her a couple of times
to get off me, just to be punched for her trouble it eventually got broken up, although it seemed
to go on for ages, during all this carry on, I never saw one of my friends !! I fully understand no
one wants to get involved in any trouble (me included) but no one I knew appeared to try and calm
thing's down.
I eventually got to my feet, and was asked by one of the rally organizers for us to leave the hall??
But it's not us who are causing the trouble!! "I said". He said " I know, but we are trying to defuse
the situation". I said Fine!! get rid of the good ones and keep the trouble makers!!

although I remember telling this :censored: about Hamish last year, I know she brought this up just because
I had a memorial section on my bebo page for Hamish.

Oh well, it's good to have Friend's !!!
I've now cancelled my Bebo

P.S. she's now going round telling people I punched her and she was talking about her son Hamish
"I just picked it up wrong" >:( >:( >:(
