No idea Angie, she actually wanted to know if the cats could have a contraceptive jab. Must ring them tomorrow to see how they are doing at getting the females to the vets.
The other kittens are sorted now, Rachel has 4, and the RSPCA have taken the other 4. So just the 6 farm kittens to sort.

Why are farmers so useless when it comes to cats?
I know they probably don't want to waste money on them but they must realise how quickly things get out of hand! I phoned up a rescue in Leek yesterday to see if they could help with 'my' farm, being only 2 miles away. The lady laughed and said she was currently trapping on 6 farms and picked up 19 from one farm over the weekend (I apologised but we had a good chat!).

There are enough city ferals to provide a constant source of cats for them!

Had two phone calls last night from people with farm kittens - all are used to coming for food, but that is about it. The first lot are 8 weeks old, and the second are about 5-6 weeks old. We only have space for 4 kittens, so are going to (hopefully) get the youngest tonight. Vouchers have been sorted for the mums, but there are 4 5-6 week kittens (all black), and 6 8 week old kittens (mix of black, black and white and tabby), all fluffy. CP and RSPCA are aware and will help if they get space, but this could be weeks. if anyone can help, please contact me.
