Mitzi had the same idea - about the dragonfly that is - yesterday.

Interesting, neither her or Flynn ate it and they love eating flies. Flynn had a go but obviously decided it tasted bad.

That is huge!

Smartie kindly brought us a slug in at the weekend.  She and Skye were batting it about till hubby rescued it and put it back outside.

I know which one your looking at but he's just for scale

LOL!

I managed to get it outside but she grabbed it again and then proceeded to eat it.  I'm just wondering a) will it do her any harm and b) how big do insects in this country go up to - I dread to think what will be next.

Thats really clever, catching a dragonfly LOL! Not nice when they eat them though  - but it won't do any harm, extra bit of protein in the diet LOL! hmmmm... just wondering what the next thing will be, whats the next size up from a  dragonfly?!!

So far, Sophie has brought presents of butterflies, flies, moths and a grasshopper.  Yesterday afternoon she really excelled herself with - a dragonfly!  She came swaggering in with it sticking out each side of her mouth and then started prodding it round the living room. When she put it down near the window, I managed to get it outside but she grabbed it again and then proceeded to eat it.  I'm just wondering a) will it do her any harm and b) how big do insects in this country go up to - I dread to think what will be next.
