Having a Ragdoll myself from a Ragdoll charity, I wish you all the best. 
I did some home vist's for CPL a few years ago, all  I say is think before you speak.  I went and put my foot in it big style, and the kitten was returned because I did not think.

Got to put the ragdoll's interest first.

Going to take Elle with me so they can meet a real ragoll. I can use her to demonstrate how to groom and care for ragdolls.

And show them what they are getting themselves into. Having fur on everything etc.
