We certainly did see a big puddy cat - amazing how big they are and Leigh was only inches away when he took the photo, only his camera and the glass around the enclosure were between him and the tiger.  Funny how it seemed to walk away and then come back to Leigh, I reckon it could smell Leigh's 3 cats and wanted a big cuddle from him

Was a great day and I wish I had a pound for every time I said aaaaaawww Also, as Leigh pointed out to me when we saw the donkeys, I shouldn't be saying aw but I should be saying eeeeeeeeeeeee aaaw !!!!!   :evillaugh:

We also saw a leaf that was really a butterfly!!!  Honest, post the photo Leigh so everyone can see.  We both thought it was a leaf but then I noticed the legs!!

What a great picture. The tiger's so beautiful. shall we send him (or her) a catnip cigar?!. I've always loved them since the day when I was little and we went to a zoo and a tiger lifted his tail and sprayed all over my brother   ;D  :evillaugh:  I would love to hear a tiger purr.....and see one in the wild, although they are so endangered, it may only be possible in zoos in the future  >:(

Cor, Woodnesborough is where my allotment is.  :evillaugh:

I'm ashamed to say I let the tourist thing get to me once. I had only just got up on a Sunday morning one lovely summer day. It was about 7.30am and I only had my dressing gown on. I went to open the curtains to listen to the dicky birds and there was a middle-aged  :censored: tourist bloke with his Konica trained on my window.   :rage: As he clicked the button, I pulled back my dressing gown and I fear he captured the full glory!

My OH was born and grew up in Woodnesborough, and we always used to say that living in Sandwich was like living in a goldfish bowl.  My uncle used to have the same problem - he lived in Stratfor-on-Avon.

We live in a 250 year old house in an ancient town which is all grade 2 listed. Everytime I look out of the window there are Germans, Chinese, French, Americans... you name it... all lined up mesmerised looking at my curtains and snapping away with their cameras like lunatics.

I know how that puddy feels...  :censored: tourists!

Rather that than living next to a zoo like someone else we know  :scared:
