I totally agree. They are also more interested in things that are more news worthy, fly tipping, dog waste etc.

Councils shouldn't be ignorant and should use their powers to follow up on things like thing instead of worrying about if people have left an extra bag of rubbish out etc.

I think Mark that a lot of people are ignorant when it comes to these kind of laws, and also the cost of it going to court etc. It's a shame more isn't done. I'd like to see more done about the indiscriminate breeding of animals, but it's so profitable and of course it's the animals that suffer as per usual

We are always hearing about people moving and leaving pets behind. Surely this act needs to be used in cases like this?
