I would go for the thrive too. For some reason Beavis doesnt like the prawn but he goes mad for the chicken and the fish varieties!

chicken, cheese, ham and sausage and liver are the high value treats when clicker training dogs if that helps. When training you don't want anything that requires chewing or that will fill them  up. So for a cat I'd say the size of a treat should be half the size of a temptation if not smaller.

It has to be something he doesn't normally have and he does have Temptations.  Bought some Thrive prawn from PAH and he likes them so looks like they might be the thing!

Chicken and cheese whiskas tempations :drool;  Both the boys love tempations, Riley is a fan of felix sticks too - they have little lines on so you can break them into small segments, Lu won't even lick one so I don't think they are as foolproof as a WT.

I haven't bought them since Kylie went on a diet but the cheapo Thomas treats go down really well here - about 40p a bag in Tesco  :evillaugh:
Also the Felix chicken ones but not the fish sticks. Nature's menu ones are also popular  :)

Thrive cat treats come in tubes.  They are freeze dried pieces of chicken or prawns.  My boys would sell their soul for a thrive treat.

Maybe try the other Whiskers treats, the kitbits etc

Or maybe the sprinkle biscuits, Whiskers and Felix do them, you know the ones which you sprinkle on their wet food? These would be better as they are smaller so he wouldnt be getting too many and this would be more cost effective I think.

I am looking for some high value cat treats for Charlie as I am doing clicker training with him.  They have to be irresistible, something he doesn't usually have and easy to carry around.  Any ideas peeps?
