For my lot its got to be Da bird and the undercover mouse.

Or some rolled up tin foil.

Got a strong catnip cigar that gets licked to death recently.

Cardboard boxes, ping pong balls, tiny mice, straws, screwed up foil & paper, bottle caps, grapes and cherry tomatoes.

The cheepy mouse from PAH is good, da bird drives them nuts & kitty kopters.

Catnip: catac sacks & skitty kitty mice :drool;

No collars for any of my boys..........Beavis is chipped and the kittens will get done as soon as they are old enough!

As for toys , the kitbits LOVE balls , and Gizzy had removed the mouse from his cat tree and is in love with it , he carries it about and looks very pleased with himself!

Beavis isnt really a toys cat , tho he did like da bird and da mouse for a bit...............but Fredcat LOVES them and never gets sick of them!

Da Bird is a hit with Jameson. He likes Da Mouse too, although his favorite game is when I ''drag'' Da Bird along in the grass, really fast - he goes mental for it. Haven't tried Wiggly Waggler, but think it's time to use paypal again... he he.

Jameson also loves chasing ping pong balls outside, catnip on the scratching post... infact anything with catnip on it, even his old toys that he normally wouldn't care about.

As for collars, I wouldn't put one on Jameson, I don't trust them 100% (even a fast release one). He is microchipped though.
Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

My Lily has a collar, only as I thought most people don't think to check microchips (I wouldn't have before I got a cat) and she looks more 'owned' with a collar.

Favourite toys, catnip cigars (Purrs shop), Da Bird (feather and mousey attachments) and also some cheapy toys like a cardboard box (I have several shoe boxes kicking around) and shoe laces attached to a wrapping paper inner tube (no idea why she likes it, but she goes mad).

My advice is try him with toys you make yourself first, Lily played for ages with an empty tissue box, especially when I put some treats inside so it rattled.  Then you can see if he's a chaser or a hider.

sometimes you spend a fortune on toys only to find they just have to play with something just lying around! I would say da Bird for interactive play, proper catnip toys (some supermarket type catnip is fake methinks) and a cat climber for play on his own.
you could try to see if you have a sculptor in the family too - try a toilet roll and see if Mr Tinks goes for it. I found they don't need that many toys but usually pick a few favourites. When Swamp was little, he used to put his favourite toy in his foodbowl and eat around it

I don't know where you live but if Mr T's able to escape I would put a safe collar on him with id disc as well as microchip.

Mine are both microchipped and I only put their collars on when they are going outside.

As for fave toys, definitely da birdy, even if I slightly rattle the tube they come running from no where!! Small fuzzy mouses are good, pingpong balls, anything with catnip and slippers!!

I'm with Clare on Wiggly Wagglers and catnip toys.  Paws Inn sells fabulous catnip toys too - www.pawsinncats.com  I also agree about microchipping and Kittycollars breakaway collars if you decide to go down that route.

Best toys in our house would be wiggly waggler (on Purrs shop), Da Bird (also on Purrs shop), and anything with catnip (you've guessed it, PUrrs shop lol)!

Also Pets at Home sell mice with a movement activated microchip in them, so they squeak when they're being batted around, that's always pretty good fun.

Re collars, Max always wore one up until a few months ago.  I would say defo microchip, and if you do get a collar, make sure its one of the breakaway ones (kittycollars on here do some nice ones).

Is there such a thing or do cats like almost anything??

Also, do you think Mr Tinks should have a collar on now - even though he's not going outside?
