Dear Diary
Today was the first day the cats have been 'home alone' since I was fitted at the end of last week. The previous 'catflap' has now been relegated back to its former duty of being a window.
Over the weekend, I was investigated by 2 large black cats I had never seen before. It seems that my secret cats-only signal, which is emitted to encourage everyone in the neighbourhood to take a look, is working? Geoffrey saw them off.
Today, Geoffrey came bursting in with a special present, and my owners arrived home from work to find a dead shrew on the bedroom floor. They said they know it was Geoffrey because Milly takes hers into the lounge (and then lets them go). I know of course because I saw the whole thing.
