Lovely outcome Michelle. We only had our Thomas, also HyperT, microchipped earlier this year aged 18 after a bit of nagging from Ela (for which I am most grateful  ;)) so, if our Tom ever unlucky enough to find himself in RSPCA hands, he stands a chance. Might be worth a mention to your friends?

I have an amazing story to tell you.

Last night my friends son was round here, he told me that their cat Sophie had died. He said she had gone missing while they were on holiday (10 days ago) and the fact that she was 18yrs old with a bad thyroid problem they were sure she had gone off somewhere to die. I text my friend and said how sorry i was. She text me back and said she was heartbroken but had rang all the local vets just incase but no one had her.

This morning i thought i would just check the national pet registers but no luck. I was just going to give up when i thought i would just give Orpington cat rescue a ring, I rang the women i normally deal with but got no answes so rang the other number. I started telling this lady about my friends cat and she asked which road she had gone missing from.....when i told her said yes "oh i think i have her"

Well to cut long story short...Sophie is now back home !!!
She had gone into someones garden and because she is so old and looks terrible the man rang the rescue - Thank God he didnt ring RSPCA !!!
