Hi Puddy,

So sorry I  missed this thread before now.  Ollie was a very special very brave boy and even though he was only with you a short time I'm sure he will be forever thankful for all the love and affection he received.

RIP Ollie .... play hard at the bridge with Portia and all your new friends and remember your mummy who is missing you so much. xxx

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts.  It semmed so unfair that both he and Portia had so little time with us, but as you say they can play together now and we will never forget them.  It was so strange, but last night Sophie was sitting on the sofa, when she suddenly stood up and chirruped like she does to say hello, and kept staring at the cushion next to her, then she moved across and lay down by it purring.  I know it sounds daft, but we both felt as if Ollie had come to say a final goodbye.

So sorry to hear this   He'll be safe and sound at the Bridge by now, reunited with Portia, free of pain and waiting for you until you are ready to collect them. Those poor babies didn't have a very good start in life but their time with you showed them what it was to be loved and cared for, it's so unfair that they were both taken from you so soon

Sorry I haven't been on for a while but I was away partly and also looking after Ollie.  Sadly we reached the end on Wednesday and he had to be PTS.  I am so sad because he was getting so brave (for Ollie) and had even curled up on my knee a couple of times but his tumour grew and he was still losing weight and he couldn't carry on.  I will always remember him as the bravest little cat I've ever had - you know how scared he was when he came 8 months ago.  Sophie has helped a lot because she always cheers me up she is so comical.  I will miss im such a lot, but I know he is safe at the Bridge now, and out of pain.
