Hi Gill
I am abit confused where to post at the moment, as the other section is for general public  "homes offered/needed"i suppose..Whereas we are a rescue

But i can get a photo asap of Marley he is at a foster that is abit further afield but its achievable.  She has given me an update.

Marley is now a huge soft puss cat, who just wants attention. He is abit skitish with new noises, but actively comes out of his pen to find you.. He gets very excited when given affection and does dribble abit... He has abit of a manky tail and coat at the moment that we are gently brushing each day, has been vac and chipped.. He would do fine in a family home perhaps with an enclosed garden, he isnt a fighter at all and would not be aggressive to another cat as long as introductions where done sensibly.. He will grow with proper food and TLC into a very big puss..

At the moment he is in our emergency foster pen and although being given lots of TLC we are unable to spend as much time with him as he needs so its pretty important that we find a new home for him asap.. Our thoughts are that if we have no success in a week or so we will try with our local CP adoption centre (Bredhurst) to see if they can take him, as he deserves a home sooner rather then later and has more opportunity of going to a loving home there then with us...

He sounds great, but I think Kent is a little far away for me. I'm not a very confident driver, and wouldn't feel good enough to go that far really. What a shame though  :(

Have you got a picture you could put up Sharon?

Presumably if there was interest the local CP branch could do a home check for you?

We have a friendly, abit sorryful and still needs abit of TLC, ginger FIV puss in our care who is around 2yrs old.. No photo yet but he came from a domestic violence situation. I was told he was shot at in the past but he is a huge softie and need a home asap.. he would be fine with kiddies..

His called Marley.

Only trouble is we are in Kent, Canterbury Way.

Hi and thanks for the welcome!
I have tried there, and got some great information from the St Albans branch of Cats Protection too. Understandably, gardens for their cats are high on the wish lists. I think I'll just have to be more patient!

Hi,
I live in a 1st floor flat (part of a converted house) which is fairly large but has no access to an outside area. I am looking to give an older kitten or young cat a home as an indoor cat. My family has kept cats for 25 years +, and I have recently ventured out of the family home and into a new place with my boyfriend. We also recently lost our cat, Pippa, who was 19 years old, which was sad. This is why I'm not looking to home an older cat at this time - I do not want to go through the pain of losing a cat so soon! Also, it has been years since we've had a young cat roaming about the place, and it would be nice to experience that again.
I have not had a home check, but have registered with my local Cats Protection service. They were unable to help unfortunately. I also checked all the local centres from this website. I am happy for any home check to take place.
Please let me know if anyone is interested and if there's enough information here.
Thanks,
Erin
