I should have just got her a drinkwell - they had another kind of fountain but it was £40 but it didn't have a waterfall like the drinkwell. Anyway, OH paid  :evillaugh:

It's a drinking fountain Mary http://www.thecatconnection.com/page/TCC/PROD/BWL-DRNK/8818

Thanks Sam - don't think it would be top of my list for Bonnie to try, she's happy with what she has.

Good luck Mark

I bought one of these a few months ago for Martha, but she ignored it & I couldn't stand the noise :oh noo:
(it's now packed away for the next Purrs auction!)

She's in the final stage of CRF, but I have only seen her drink once or twice - and that was only after being sick.  So I add water to every meal now (except when she has her thyroid tablet), and she usually gets fed about 10/12 times a day (4 of these before 7.00am )

I've got two of them and Felix especially loves it.  One of them is with my mum and kittens - I'm paranoid after my first mum dropped one of her kittens in a normal water bowl. :-:

The only trouble is it gets very noisy if it gets low on water.  Just leave in situ and they will probably come round to the idea Mark.  Felix now bangs his against the floor if he thinks it is getting too low on water, not very good at 4.30 am.

We got one for Alice yesterday but she is scared of it

I have left it on in the hope that she will get used to it  :Luv2:

She has started eating more dry (Orijen) but I don't see her drink from the bowls. I am cooking fish with extra water which she is drinking but I can't rely on her only having that  :tired:
