Wow - thats great for a tenner!

I don't know how much we actually need a feeder - we've only used ours 3 times, when we've been away for the weekend. I am usually always at home at Jamesons feeding times.

I have this one

I bought it from Lidl for £9.99.

I've similar ones on the internet for about £60 (look identical but brand tends to be different.  The tronic one above is probably from Lidl).

Lidl dont' sell them all the time, and may not sell them at all these days for all I know (don't go in there often).  It's a good feeder - digital and does 4 feedings.

Is this the Catmate C50 we're talking about? I do like ours, but always have problems turning the lid to the Zero compartment. And when I manage to do so, I have no idea what I did, or how to do it next time. Tbh, I would prefer a modern electronic one, if there was one that feeds 5 meals. Mind you, this one was around £35, so an electronic one would probabaly be way expensive.

I've just phoned PetMate and they're sending me a replacement lid, very helpful and friendly.

I got my feeder a few weeks ago and am only just trying it out to get Lily used to using it before I need it.  But I'm having problems, the round lid doesn't always flip round when the time reaches the little pointer.  Just now I noticed it was still on her morning wet food and it should have flipped round to some dry food, so I just nudged it and it flipped round.  I'm not sure whether I'm not putting the lid on right or whether it's a faulty one.  Sometimes it works fine, but other times not.  I'm nervous about leaving her over night with this feeder as she might not get any food!
