Amongst all the ridiculous and scary questions, there was a pointless but harmless one

"Who invented the cat flap?"

One of the answers was

A lady called Catherine Flap back in 1904, it was originally invented for her midget son as he couldn't reach the door handle

That really tickled me

Mark, I really wish I had never gone on there

I posted on a thread about a 3 week old kitten that someone is literally force feeding and they can't get it to go to the loo. I've just had an email and I can't believe how many idiots are in this world

I'm not blaming her, well in some way but I can't believe the guy she got it off or the vets response

Message: i got this cat free and realized it seemed really small... then i called where i got her from and was like why isn't she eating and he said feed her milk and she wouldnt and i said well how old is this cat he said 3 weeks old. the vet told me to force it cuz its used to feeding differently and i have cats milk now i dont have a bottle tho and thats why its so hard to feed her.. she still hasnt pooped i think she pissed but i dont even know that i just know where she sleeps smells funny

One has posted asking how she can tell if her cat is neutered, it's a stray and they've had her 3/4 years and no babies. I asked if she was sure it's a girl, and I've just had an email off her saying "no im not sure she is a female... she only has several nipples!!!!!"

I only glanced over the responses - I think that's enough stress for one day. I know there are stupid, irresponsible people in the world so I think I'm not going to actively seek them out because it makes me feel really angry.

It takes a lot to get banned. I've had a few replies removed and warnings, but I've not been banned. The worst ones are the declaw questions because they make me so angry so I end up posting in anger.

I've not had time to go on there for a long time, but I've been and had a quick look tonight. Answered one that was probably from a troll, re why do rescues rehome stupid cats that should have been euthanased at birth

Apparently their recently adopted cat is peeing everywhere. Don't blame him. I'd probably pee over this person's possessions if I lived with him/her

I agree Dawn I did say she needs to speak to a vet as people can't diagnose just like that. I think people just want an easy and free way out of their guilt. I have seen questios on there like "My cat is trembling and can't walk and hasn't left her basket for 3 days" - someone answered "why don't you offer kitty some warm milk"

I really want to bang their heads together
