You may remember the story in the news about the removal of a large number of horses, ponies and donkeys from a farm in Amersham in January.
Sadly last week there was a ruling that 11 donkeys and 18 shetland ponies must be returned to their owner and the remaining 82 horses sold at a livestock auction in May (many end up in mainland Europe for the meat trade).
This is from an RSPCA letter which says they're "exploring all legal options available to try to get this decision reversed and to secure the future welfare of the horses."
I was asked by a good friend to pass this information on and make as many people aware as possible and maybe try to get the media involved. Although I work in the media, I don't really have the right connections to push this forward so any help is appreciated.
Thanks
