Possible abbcess/ swelling advice required?

Iv never had problems with Panacur products, so i would have a good look around the farm for something he could return to.

Better today thanks, less drooling still stuffing meat down him, but much brighter, fingers crossed he keeps getting better

Has he been tested for feline calicivirus?  This can cause ulcers on the tongue, hopefully he'll be feeling better in a couple of days but I would advise keeping him in no matter how much he yowls.

Never had any probs with panacur and I think you should go out and find the cat and bring him back, it would be terrible if he got poisoned

It was panacur granules, I had made him stay in however husband opened a window and let him out about an hour ago  not pleased

Make him stay in, its for the sake of his health.

Sounds like there is something very nasty at the farm and ulcers on the tongue must be very painful.

no this is the one that chases that one off,

Just back from vets he has ulcers on his tongue, we think he licked something or ate something funny, she said no way could it be the wormer although I have read online problems with the particular brand.

Had antibiotics and has to stay in, although i doubt he will

I hope so, hubby is a bit worried, the last cat he had cost him £860 eith an infected tooth! he is insured but its sketchy on dental work

It does sound like an abcess or perhaps an infected tooth. I'm sure the vet will be able to sort it out with some painkillers and antibiotics!

Am off to vets later but I wanted to see what you all thought of this

My male cat came in on monday drooling and off his food, he seemed fine later on and went off as he does

I found him yesterday at the farm again drooling really badly and chattering his teeth, he is very difficult to keep in and I tried last night but husband let him out at 4am because he was yowling and generally knocking things flying

Today hes brighter theres a noticable swelling under his left jaw, it feels egg shaped, would it be a gland? or abbcess? or something else

He has blood on his mouth today, ordinarily Id say it was because hed eaten something but hes still having trouble, he cant eat biscuits but is stuffing down meat.

hes still drooling but no where near as much as yesterday.  He was wormed with panacur granules on Sunday

Any ideas  ?
