Just a note all.
It would be more then helpful if people where to put location in the subject titel of where a cat is to be homed or where a new home is... As sometimes there has to be a limit (esp when a cat dosnt travel well) how far a cat has to travel to find a nice new home.

Sorry if this all sounds abit OTT but the more infor people who post about homing a cat the better and the more the rescues put about where any potential cat is to be homed, just helps things along abit...

It would be great if they were on the new flash page please. If you want more details, just ask.  :thanks:

Just another thought Tanni, I was confused when reading quickly by the title of the Child boards here and they seem to be hard to find.

Maybe the one for rehoming cats could be made clearer by calling it CATS NEEDING HOMES as opposed to WE NEED/ARE LOOKING FOR A CAT, so two are completely different and very clear.........ok I just simple minded .............do not answer that  ;D

Where do we post the details, Gill. I'm desperately trying to home Fred and Victoria together. They are 10mths old, neutered/spayed ex-ferals. They are now almost tame (Vic is very tame, Fred is still skittish but would tame easily in a forever home). Anyone in the midlands who wants to take on these cats is free to contact me via email, saying in the title they are from Purrs, so not accidentally junked. I'll upload some piccies.

Hun

Pop a  thread in the separate section for Fred and Victoria as well so if peeps go directly there they will see them  :) and if you like i can also put them on the news flash page.  :)

Yes hun thats a very good idea. If we have all the cats looking for homes and homes offered in separate child boards (from rescues as well as private homes) then when sorted  we should change the title.

Ok finks we need a section mod for this to check all the posts in the main section to see if some need to be duplicated in the two spesific sections and also to mark the threads when sorted. Any volunteer  :naughty:

I just wondered when the people have on that listing found their cat it can be shown as "sorted" etc.. As otherwise it may be that the thread gets missed..

Pehaps the title can be modified.. Things move so quickly on Purrs its hard to keep up to date!

But today I have just popped on for a minute!

You can post them on this thread as you have  or in the one Mark mentioned which is this

http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php/board,61.0.html

Or in both places.

I reckon as much coverage as possible cant be bad  ;D

As Gill is usually on late in the day, it's in the section above this in Child Boards.
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Its time to start some threads rescues, for cats that need homes as we now have a number of new members actively looking for cats.  ;D

Pictures, area, type of home and info about the cats needed.

I have seen one person wanting a young indoor cat, another wanting an older cat who had been looking for a home for a while and also others. Oh yes someone wanting a tabby  ;D

Lets use the opportunities when they are there, we are a big site now and I am sure homechecks and transport can be arranged when other areas to yours are involved.
