Aww that's really lovely, must be so nice to see the kittys going to good homes and being happy :)

By the way - sorry for the delay in sending you the Hi Life food - I just haven't managed to get to the post office yet! Will do as soon as I go into town, I haven't forgotten!

Its great you can catch up and see them all settled. Are you in need of bric a brac? My Mums just given me a pile of old recipe books and a friends just given me a bag of cat food that her pud wont eat. Im not sure the books are worth anything to be honest but if the foods any good its yours. Its whiskers and kit-e-kat I think

Yeah, it is quite weird really, as we wouldn't have some of these cats if their original owners had been decent, yet the ones that offer a home to them can be really nice people.
I have spent the afternoon with Frankie and his owners, I haven't time to upload the pics today though. He is so much happier in his new home, the only one of hte three I have seen that would actually spend some time with me!! They kindly gave us a bed, toys and food that he doesn't like - Rolo likes the toys (there's a surprise!!), so I have two new beds for them now. We also have some more bric a brac to sell, so can't wait for the swap shop to be open, there is some nice stuff.
I am pleased Hobo has a new home - sadly doesn't mean I can take anymore in, as I still have no isolation until someone else gets rehomed, but takes the pressure off a bit!

You do meet both good and bad people in rescue, just a case of working out which is which really.

There are so many people out there that I am ashamed to share a gene pool with, but I am sure that you do meet some of the most compassionate people on the planet as well, and that must be very rewarding.

Good news about your little (ex-)charges.  Especially Hobo - I have a soft spot for him  :)

I dont keep in touch with all my fosters, but I do talk to quite a few of them a lot - some have become friends, which is nice.

I love it when I Can do it, although the offer of donated food was the real reason I went to see Meg, and bric a brac is the reason I will be seeing Frankie, unless they change their mind and come here.

Hobo has gone to his new home, I am really pleased for him, as i didnt think he liked me very much - you could sit in front of his den for an hour and he wouldnt come out to see you, and he rarely came near when he was loose in the house, and he never made a noise at mine - when his new owners came to look at him, and they stopped stroking him, he was miaowing for them to continue, something he never did with me. They were fine with him being an older cat, which is good.

I then went to see Angels owners, they have renamed her Meg, sadly she is still having tummy issues, they are now suspecting IBS, and she has had a couple of steroid jabs, but obviously that isn't good long term. She is still quite nervy, so wouldnt come that close to me. They had some food that she couldnt eat, there was loads of it, and they also surprised me buy buying us 3 dozen tins of food, I was really touched by the gesture. They also had a bed that she wouldnt sleep in, but I haven't convinced anyone here to sleep in it yet!!

In the evening, I went to go and see Tinky (formerly Shadow), again, she decided to be anti-social!! Her dad was a bit under the weather, so she stayed with him while me and her mum had a good long natter!!

i love seeing them in their new home, even if they dont come that close to me!! Frankie's owners also have things for me, so I have to arrange going seeing him, but dubious with the weather forecast.
