This is how I got Abigail, she wasn't free but advertised in the pet shop for £40 and unspayed, how can people be so idiotic is beyond me  >:(  >:(  >:(

So at least some people want to do what's right, even if it's a bit delayed.

Well done hun, did you mention about getting the mum cat spayed?

Gah! Was so worried about the teeny cat (there was a picture and the poor thing was TINY) I forgot. I'll answer their email - they already have my addy so if they want to be offensive they already have the means!

Email sent and this response received. (With spelling mistakes corrected - I have a school marm attitude.  :evillaugh:)

"Hello

Thank you for emailing me back. Yes hun, I'm aware of CPL spaying cats.

I've had my cat done years ago.... I have passed on your email to the lady who was getting rid of the kitten/s and forewarned her I have removed the advert and am willing to take on her mummy cat and  kitten if she needs them gone that bad to help the kitten with his mummy.

Another unwanted kitten and cat I guess. Pity she never thought to do her cat b4 it came to this in my view.

I totally agree with you on the situation on the kittens and I for one will not allow her to rehome this little thing untill the time is right. Thank you again."

OK, so it's not grammatically accurate, but at least there's someone looking out for this mother cat and her babies. :)

Not a pedigree, but seemed a good thread to vent on:

"1 male tabby kitten left out of 4

this little 6 week old kitten is ready from weekend when i arrive back home off my holiday.

he as been flead, brought up around children dogs an other cats,

still being litter trained at pressant, as been weaned an been eating his own cat food for nearly 2 weeks now.

40 pounds no offers to ensure he gets a good home."

Ahhhhh! >:( People are such morons. Our local "previously cared for" site had someone getting new homes for all their ex breeders and they were giving them away randomly too.

I severly doubt it  - I just hope genuine people took them in  :(

I must admit - Bengal's are very close to my heart - as I am owned by two male ones. And every time I see a thread like this my heart stops.

Just seen this in the paper. Its very local to us and i have just rang him up they were all homed yesterday!! All full toms.. I dont know why he didnt bother to ask a rescue about rehoming these cats.. But what can you say... !

There is alot of pedigrees in the paper for sale and free to good homes..

I would of hoped he did a homecheck.
Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....
