How is Buster, as well as possible I hope.
Hes doing OK thank you.
I know this sounds really awful but it would be good if we could let this thread disappear; it is easier to cope with things if I can treat our boy as normal. I promise to post when their is news.

I totally missed this thread when it was first posted and didn't know about Buster until last weekend.
Just wanted to pass on our best wishes for the gorgeously distinguished man and I hope he has many more happy days, weeks and hopefully months at Paws Inn. I had forgotten that he is 22, only two years younger than me (nearly exactly!) and another December baby. I will also say that he does not look his age!
Sending our love (and lots of it!)

Treating him like normal would be best to keep his routine and least amount to stress i guess

Buster is doing ok thanks Lynn, he is picky with his food but eating lots of tiny amounts often. Our boy is a fighter and since April last year has been fighting for water so I am sure his huge water intake will stand him in good stead. Apart from the extra meals we have decided to treat him as normal for as long as possible.

Buster sends his thanks for all the kisses and cuddles and good wishes from everyone.
Ellie good to see you back but no tears please Buster would prefer you to think of him with the big happy smile you had when you first met him.
Buster will never be the kitten he was but he is still enjoying his life and secretly his overweight girlfriend Anastasia is enjoying the fact that Buster is having so many meals for her to help polish off.

I have had the honour of meeting the gorgeous Buster (who does not look his age) and fell head over heels in love with him as did Susan
I pray that it is slow growing and you and Buster are in our thoughts and prayers xxxx
Please give Buster lots of love, kisses and gentle cuddles from me and Susan xx

Just want to say that Buster may be 22 but up to now he has never been old, and has always made the most of his kittenhood.

Sorry the news wasnt what we'd hoped. However you might now feel a little better somehow knowing exactly what the problem is after the scan rather than a list of possiblilitys and we can all hope that it is slow growing.

Just back from vet with Buster; scan has shown tumour in right kidney but Andy says its impossible to tell whether its primary or secondary without opening him up - thats not an option in both vets opinion and mine, at least we are now certain just hoping its a slow growing primary.
Buster was a true gentleman for the vets and managed without sedation; I`m so proud of my boy even if he does have a bald sticky tummy.
Buster is happy to be home again and enjoyed a little of Aunty Claires applaws.

Just caught up with this thread Teresa. By the way, thanks for the email. Been busy lately on the missing cat front.
I'm sure that you know by now that my best wishes go out to you in everything you do and to all the felines who find true love and comfort in your care.
I'll be thinking of Buster. Tell him that there are some powerful positive vibes heading his way from all round the country and that he should take them on board and let them flow and help strengthen his fight.
