ok I am sitting sobbing at that - how lovely!!

This is the one I originally saw a few months ago

If you ignore the chatter of the newsreader I think it is amazing and a reminder of how animals remember more than we give them credit for!

Crazy to think that was filmed 35 years ago. They knew then that this was possible. It gives me a renewed admiration for the Born Free Foundation for each and every wild creature they help.

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

You know what... People who dump their cats, in the belief that they'll soon forget and be okay and find a new life, should be made to watch these clips. As should people who adopt cats and hand them back after a few weeks when puss fails to settle. We should also ask ourselves how long do cats feel grief as well.

And something that has always puzzled me about my own puds has just been solved... It was only after moving to me present home that it became possible to fit a cat flap. When we first got it installed, none of the cats had a clue what it was for and I had to teach them -  all save one!  :sneaky: My Tilly saw the flap and immediate jumped through it and into the garden. She was the only one of my puds I'd adopted as an adult so methinks her old home must have had a cat flap as well. But I'd had her for 7 years myself, and she'd never seen one in all the time.  :scared:  :wow:

Thank you so much Clare, that was the most wonderful, heartwarming thing to see in a long while!!  I thought of George Adamson, and as I looked at some other Christian footages there was a mention of Mr. Adamson.  I never knew he was murdered.  What a pity.  The world could use more people like him and Christian's daddies... :Luv:

sobbing here, that was sooooooooo lovely, the expressions on all their faces. My own dog didn't recognise me for about five minutes after he arrived here, but our reunion was similar - now I get it every night when I get home, but oh, the splendour and the beauty of it all ... :wow:

I was sent this today and have just managed to find it on YouTube.

These guys hand reared the lion from a cub, but when it got bigger, they were told they could not keep it any more.  It was taken to a sanctuary.

Several years later they went to visit, but were told that the lion would not recognise them.

Watchee this :-
