I think you can safely say that you are part of a group of people who are just like you... NONE of us have normal pets!!

Don't think so Ruth as our friend brought his ear thingy round and looked in his ears and said they were as clean as could be.  I think you hit the nail on the head - she is a strange cat.  Why do I never have totally normal animals like other people ;D

The cats do sometimes start to have a bat at his tail (which is like a long piece of string) but they have never quite plucked up the courage to pounce.  Favourite game at present is batting heads and ears as we go up or down stairs.  Ollie leans so far out through the rails, i's a wonder he hasn't fallen straight on his head.  But with Ollie, we probably wouldn't notice the difference   He really has some strange phobias, which change at intervals.  I can understand loud noises such as the hoover or washing machine - but knitting needles are the current thing to be scared of.  Not when I'm actually using them - only when he sees them on the table by my chair.  I think a psychiatrist would have a ball trying to work out what makes Ollie tick  :Luv2:

Sophie doesn't wash the dogs ears, she just peers down them.  I once had a burmese that used to snuggle under my hair and chew the ends Ruth.  Didn't do a lot for the style    I guess she is nuts.

Lol I just can imagine the scene... :evillaugh:  It can be quite funny just what cats take fancy with sometimes...  I often wonder, seeing how wiggly waggly object provoke a huge interest in cats, if they tend to chase around the tails of dogs. Those who live all together, does this happen, too?

At least Sophie is focusing only on the pooch's ears. Imagine if she fixated on human ears? My sister's bridge baby used to love licking our ears.

I don't know why, but Sophie is absolutely fascinated by our dogs ears!  she keeps sitting by him and peering down them.  It got the point that we were examining them as well but couldn't see anything wrong.  A friend of our who is a vet (but not ours) checked them and say they are absolutely fine, but none of us can puzzle out why Sophie has got this fixation.  Poor Padraig (greyhound) is puzzled as to why all this interest but puts up with her.  Anyone any ideas what she is doing - or is she just nuts
