Licia, I remember reading that about Oliver - don't think I'll be doing too many exercises with my bad back.

I did rub the rug all over me though so that she would smell me on it.

Sam, I have enough problems with her playing with one of her other beds without her going crazy with the catnip!!!!  See pic. (kicking hell out of it with her feet)

Like all cats - she will do it in HER OWN TIME.  :naughty: :evillaugh: :Luv2:

Does Bonnie like catnip .. if she does maybe you could give her new rug a squirt of catnip spray (kookamunga spray from Pets at home is very good).
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Mary perhaps you should do some crunches and such on the rug and sweat on it... Oliver loves my sweaty towel he pounces on it right away and wouldn't let it go!!

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Can't find pics of her stripey pad being ignored - I sure there will be other opportunities. I would take it away but once in a blue moon she uses it to "make bread" then gets off again  - Like her wooden toy from America with the holes (forget the name) - All she ever does is rubs her face against the corners. I would give it to the others but I think it's her equivilent of a "blankey" as whenever she has been downstairs, when she goes back in her room, she makes a beeline for it. Still it's the only scent marking she does so I should be grateful  :Luv2:

Anyway, I'm sure there will be plenty more things you will buy Bonnie only to be ignored  :evillaugh:

Strange you should say that Sam as Smudge used to sit on my towels when I piled them up on the spare bed to be ironed.  Bonnie however has never touched them.  Glad she's totally different as she doesn't remind me of my Smudge and upset me. :Luv2:

Ahhh bless her .... I gave up a long time ago buying beds and rugs for my lot.  The best way to get them to sleep on anything new is to put an old towel on it ... for some reason I have found that cats just can't resist toweling  ;)

Took Bonnie to vet yesterday for an injection and thought I would treat her to a new rug - £7.  Please can anyone tell me why I bothered?  See attached pic and you will see why!  :Luv2:
