dot is now coming up for 6 months ( from our guessed DOB 8th sept 07) since the day i got her she has been sick on and off with the odd bout of the runs aswell, shes been int the garden a few times with me, but apart from that she isnt out on her own, she was a feral kitten from a farm, (part of a litter that we rehomed along with some puppies aswell) anyway back to it, 6 months on, we found kitten food was too rich for her, it flew out, adult food is better, but we keep it bland, however she is a pig, and will finish hers then work on someone elses, wether its kippers or the dogs she isnt fussy...she eveen steals off the worktop, or dirty plates, so we have been having to work on her not getting on worktops etc. but she STILL gets the squits ( aptly called by my 7 yr old son!) kipper has always been a fit healthy cat, she dosent eat differnt to him really, biscuits are put out in the morning and evening meal is meaty. i have limited the amount in opne meal now as im sure she just eats cos its there?
does this sound like over eating to anyone else? i know its the case with dogs if they are fed to much it goes straight through them,
dot is ever so tiny still, very full of herself, playful and a normal lively kitten, am i just unlucky in that she is a sickly cat? will the vets spay her even though she randomly gets like this? they cant find anything wrong with her?
