I found an object in Zeb's pouch once (whiskers)

it wasn't a maggott - but it was white and looked like the body of a butterfly. I taped it to the pouch and sent it off. didnt hear anything back as to what it was. But I received a £5 voucher. Whoopeee (a sarcastic one)

Of course I threw it away and opened another - I am vigulent now when chopping up their food.

I found a pickled onion inside a bag of crisps once

Was it the pickled onion kind? (bad joke)

Seriously, that is really bad Christine. I also mash the food up beforehands, and also mix with water, so hope I would detect anything that shouldn't be there.

I found a piece of blue paper in a garibaldi biscuit once (bit of a sugar bag?) - I posted it to Peek Freans and they sent me a tin of "Family Circle"  ;D

The worst story I heard was from an ex-colleague. He said he used to work at a well known bakery. He said they had a machine that crimps the end of the cellophane wrapper on packs of crumpets. Someone trapped their hand and someone got a bowl of antiseptic and water to clean it up. He said when they were done, they threw the dirty water into the dough mix

Blimey!  That's scary   I always mash the food up well and fortunately have never found anything like that in it.

I was serving Blip her Natures Menu and as I was mashing it into the warmed water (thank goodness I do mash it up  :scared:) I came across a small fragment of blue pottery.

When I say small, I do mean small, and it would certainly have passed safely through Blip and out the other end, but thats not the point, is it?

I have washed the offending fragment and intend to send it back to the manufacturer, along with the sachet it came from, tomorrow for analysis.
