Jiji sick again

Some cats vomit with great regularity, Samantha made a hobby of it a few years ago. I took her to the vet and there was nothing wrong with her.

I would watch for other symptoms indicating problems, such as hot ears (temperature) or if her scruff remains standing when you gently pull it upwards, instead of springing back to place (dehydration). If she also has diarrohea, then she may have a tummy bug which is worth having investigating by vet.

If she eating well and playing, that indicates that there may not be a major problem, but always best to err on side of caution until you've got lots of practise in spotting poorly pusscats.

She seems much better now thanks. I'm still having to give her eyedrops though because once the conjunctivitus cleared up in one eye, it moved to the other.
But no more vomiting, and she's much brighter.

I agree with maddie. It could be she ate too much too quickly caos she was hungry or it tasted dso nice

If she has only vomited the once then I wouldn't be too concerned so long as she is happy and playful.  If it continues then I would take her to the vet.

She doesn't seem like she has anything physically wrong with her, she's still playing and purring like normal.
Plus I've discovered the reason for the non-drinking, she prefers our tap! I only found this out as I had left for work, but had to go back as I forgot something, went into the kitchen and there she was lapping at our tap.

So that's a weight off my mind.

However there is still the fact she vomited this morning, how normal is that?
She was eating her wet food, stopped and then threw up.

and  cut out the dry food until you have an answer, it will contribute to dehydration if she is not drinking to compensate for it.

I'm getting very worried about Jiji, not only does she still have the problem with her eye, but she also vomited this morning.

I'm a little worried that she is dehydrated as her water bowl appears almost untouched. She eats a medium amount of wet food, and quite a lot of biscuits.

It may be just new worried mum syndrome, but I can't help worrying about the cause of her vomiting. It seemed quite out of the blue.
