It's a shame I'm haven't spoken to my sister in years, she's in Ireland and has about 7 dogs but I think it would be a bit suss to ring her after all this time and say, by the way would you take another dog on

Ireland really stuggles with their strays, theres several charities who rescue them and then bring them into England for rehoming.

Its so heartbreaking knowing there is nothing you can do.
The only comfort i can take from it is being PTS is just like going to sleep, its quick and peaceful.

I think a lot of people know with the Irish Pounds they are usually only given 7 days, sadly Danny isn't the only one      I've had an email about 4 more that only have 7 days to live unless somewhere is found, not sure where these are based though

DANNY urgently needs a home! He is with Meath Dog pound and will be put to
sleep if no home is found quickly!

 DESCRIPTION:
 Danny is a 3 year old male Boxer who was give up by his owner on January
 22nd, 2008 . He is a very affectionate dog and is looking for a home where
 he could be an indoor dog as he doesn't like to be kept outside.
 
Danny is not a fussy eater and will eat anything. Like all Boxers, Danny
needs plenty of exercise. He has a very good temperament and came from a
family with children.
