Just brought Toby home again; no further bleeding since late yesterday afternoon;the only reason vet can offer is that he has possibly knocked himself playing with his brother, though knowing the gentle nature of these two I doubt it. Must admit I was relieved that I had them blood tested recently it saved me imagining all sorts. Got to watch him like a hawk and straight back if there are further bleeds.

 :thanks: All.
Toby is still hospitalised, no real news but vet nurse remembered him being very weepy after his castration, still find it hard to believe this could happen 8 days after the operation when everything has been so wonderful for him and his brother who must reallly be missing each other.

Poor Toby
« Reply #1 on: February 02, 2008, 10:44:21 AM »
Poor little Toby was neutered 8 days ago and has been fine till now; I went out to his pen this morning to find blood everywhere and after a quick check realised it was coming from his genital area. The vets have admitted him and I have just helped the vet nurse to bandage his empty sac which meant bandaging half his body in an attempt to stop the blood flow which is now very fast; seems so very strange after 8 days; just hoping he is going to be ok.
