My boy Mac ihad his wee op yesterday and is totally fine.  He had a wee sleep when he came home but later he was bouncing around the house as if nothing had happened.  Also he was sooking up to me loads.

When I brought Mosi home from being neutered he bounced out of his carrier like nothing had happened!  If he was in pain he certainly wasn't showing it.  It's probably a little bit uncomfortable for them but none of mine (I've had 3 boys neutered) have acted like they're in pain when they've returned from the vet.

Not especially, it would be done under a general anaesthetic and they often have a pain killing injection which will last them a day or so.  My boy cat was bouncing around at home the same day like nothing had happened while his sister took longer to recover as it's a bigger op than male neutering.
