Tested clear for his thyroid so has now been given Fortekor. What a good boy he just took his first one on his own and then cried for another one! Has to go back to vet in one month for monitoring but sooner if I am worried.

Yes he did Pav, thanks. He was very stressed and so was I as we had to go to a different branch of the vets and got lost! Anyway got there eventually and now have to wait again. His legs aren't too bad at the moment and he did have a little play yesterday.

Oh, poor Dragon has to go for more blood test, i hope they dont have to give him sedative to take the blood.
You have to ask them to get the result back assoon as possible this time.
Lots of cuddles to Dragon.

Saturday morning! Can't go tomorrow as I have to attend a meeting which I arranged! Have no car for three days at start of next week as some kind soul pranged it whilst it was parked outside my house and did £387 worth of damage. Life sucks sometimes!

OOh, I hate it when that happens - fortunately, I have only ever had delays at the surgery, adn that is bad enough. When will you be taking him back in?

Vet just phoned and the blood has gone astray between the vet and the lab! So poor old fella has to go back to have his blood taken again. Discussed the liver, kidney and heart issues and the vet said at this stage it is not worrying but obviously needs investigation and will see what the thyroid test reveals before deciding what to do next.
