I haven't heard of htat before, but I do try and avoid food in gravy as much as possible, as it can give cats a runny bum, and I dont like that.
Please spay your cat

Me too Gwen - and my two do seen to like the food in gravy. I've never noticed any difference in the nutritional details given on the gravy vs jelly food. If there really is more sugar in gravy-foods, you'd think they should put it on the packaging. Mind you. I also heard that cat saliva has different enzymes to ours, and that their teeth don't suffer from sugar-based problems, but again I don't know if that is actually the case.

I read somewhere on here (yes purrs) :evillaugh:  that cat food in gravy contains more sugar than in jelly.  I usually buy in gravy thinking it would be more appetising for them but not sure what to do now :scared:
Love me,love my animals.
