poor Shadow accepted his role at the bottom of the pecking order a long time ago - but it does not stop him raiding their food bowl once in a while ... :Luv:

What a gorgeous boy - and so responsible, helping his meowmy :evillaugh: Shadow's cameo was very cute - and he is so modest to allow his handsome show-off cat-brother to hog the limelight

THanks Lucy, he wondered what I was doing so sat up directly in front of the camera. Fortunately he responds promptly to instructions to 'drop'! :Luv:

Ohhh bless what a nice boy Smidgen is!!  And if not for the efficiency for getting the sweeping job done he is definitely helping to make the chore more interesting and fun!! ;)  I love his colours, he is a darling!! :Luv:

I have to take a note on the second video... Oliver does do all sorts of crazy things we will have to make our tree extra sturdy (which is yet to be built after getting the raw materials over 2 months ago... :shify: )  not that occasional collapsing shall bother him either... his bones also seem to be made of rubbers!!

What happened to the collapsing ladder on the cat tree!  Didn't seem to bother Smidgen though  :evillaugh:

It is rarely in place because, as you can see he is too rough with it. he seems to be completely boneless and, I swear, sometimes stage falls to add to the entertainment!

As for the 'da'bird' effect, now you know why his is banned  the throws himself after it with such abandon I am terrified he will hurt himself. Next summer I will take it out into the garden and play with him there ... fewer obstacles to land on hard ...

smidgen's busy day - the movie

Well, we finally got to the point where all the boxes are unpacked (and where necessary re-packed) and so we could get on with some of the housework that has been on hold until this was done. Smidgen decided he would like to help with the sweeping - all those nasty tumble-weeds ...

and then he discovered I had moved the cat tree, so decided to investigate it ...

after that, he was quite tired, and it being chilly, found somewhere snug:

It's a tough life being a cat ...  :Luv:
